Payment Information

We accept most PPO insurance, some HMO’s, and self pay.

Our primary concern is your welfare. However, we recognize that treatment can be costly, particularly in today’s unstable insurance environment. When your insurance will not cover your treatment, please speak with our Admissions Coordinator about other solutions. Financing options exist, and may be available through PROSPER Healthcare Lending (not affiliated with Tribe). Click here for more information. We accept most major credit cards.

What To Bring

Camarillo has been ranked as one of the most temperate climates year-round in the world.  Still, cool mornings and warm summers are the norm.  Comfortable, casual clothing is appropriate.

We suggest you bring the following:

  • Pants
  • Shorts, skirts or dresses for women (no mini’s)
  • Shorts for men
  • Leggings with the appropriate top that drops to at least mid-thigh.
  • Sweaters and a jacket
  • Pajamas
  • Flat shoes, tennies, sandals or flip flops
  • T-shirts and collared shirts, no tanks in Program or bra straps showing
  • Swimsuit or swim trunks
  • A phone
  • Headphones for private listening
  • Notebooks or journals

Prepare for sober fun!  Please bring clothing appropriate for hiking, the beach, exploring, going to museums, shopping, etc.


All personal toiletries brought to Tribe must be in their original containers. Non-alcoholic mouthwash is allowed.


Tribe provides all linens, towels, and housing supplied. The houses have a once/week maid service and change of linens/towels. Houses have washer and dryers for your convenience.


Any medications you bring to Tribe must be prescribed by your doctor and in the original containers with prescription labels attached. Medications not labeled and/or with a potential for abuse or dependency will be destroyed upon arrival.

Staff at Tribe will evaluate all medications brought into the facility, and all bags and belongings will be thoroughly searched on arrival.


Tribe is a nationally accredited Intensive Outpatient Program for mental health and substance abuse disorders in sunny Southern California. Our evidence-based therapies include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, along with a host of others. We support the use of SAMHSA-recommended Medication-Assisted Treatment.

We also offer cutting edge treatments such as EMDR for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, depression, and grief, and our neuroscience and holistic techniques chip away at long standing depression, anxiety and trauma, such as BrainPaint, Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Sound Baths, and Mindfulness training. Our clients are exposed to a variety of recovery groups such as the 12-step model, Refuge Recovery, Celebrate, and Smart Recovery.
